CPhO's Clinical Fellow Scheme: Applications now open

The Chief Pharmaceutical Officer's Clinical Fellow Scheme for 2020/21 is seeking applications to commence in posts from September 2020.

The Scheme provides opportunities for pharmacists to spend one year working closely with the most senior leaders and teams in national healthcare organisations. Fellows will be able to develop a range of skills including leadership and management, research and analysis, communications, collaboration, project management and policy development.

The scheme is sponsorship by the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer of NHS England and NHS Improvement Dr Keith Ridge.

The scheme is open to pharmacists aspiring to develop a range of leadership positions in the future and welcomes applications from all sectors with full GPhC registration. Applicants must have completed a minimum of three full revalidation cycles and do not hold/have held a formal, established senior leadership role.

Applications for the Clinical Fellow Scheme should be made on the Faculty of Medical Leadership Management (FMLM) Website where further information about the application process can also be found.

The deadline for applications is Wednesday 18 March 2020 at 9am.
