RPS talks to ITV News about EpiPens

President reassures viewers about supplies

RPS President Ash Soni was interviewed on ITV News today about the ongoing shortage of EpiPens, auto-inject devices used by people with severe allergies in case of an anaphylactic reaction.

Ash reassured viewers that there are systems in place to manage the shortage and that everyone who needs an EpiPen will get one.

The shortage is being closely monitored by the Department of Health and Social Care and pharmacists are currently verifying prescriptions to ensure those in greatest need are prioritised.
