RPS talks to BBC about new diabetes toolkit for Ramadan

RPS England Board member Dr Mahendra Patel talked to BBC Look North recently about how pharmacists can help people manage their medicines during Ramadan.

Mahendra has been closely involved with the development of a Diabetes and Fasting Toolkit with the South Asian Health Foundation. 

Religious and cultural beliefs, such as fasting, can have a significant impact on health conditions. Supporting patients with the management of their condition will enable them to make informed decisions about whether they will fast, and to fast safely.
