The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has issued a medical device recall of specific lots of Smiths Medical CADD Non Flow-Stop Medical Cassette Reservoirs due to the risk of under delivery of medication. Smiths Medical CADD Non Flow-Stop Medical Cassette Reservoirs may have been manufactured with an incorrect pressure plate which could cause partial or total occlusion of the tubing with no alarm.
