Covid-19

Supporting your health and wellbeing

The RPS and Pharmacist Support wellbeing survey highlighted the difficulties that pharmacists face every day and COVID-19 has amplified these pressures.

Our wellbeing hub has just been updated with all the latest information, guidance and training resources for you and your team when things get tough.

Talking to government

Making sure pharmacists and pharmacy teams get the right support has been a key focus of our discussions with the NHS and governments across GB.

We’ve welcomed new Mental Health and Wellbeing Hubs, launched in England last month, and the Welsh Government extended Health for Health Professionals Wales to all pharmacy teams. Scotland’s National Wellbeing Hub also offers lots of resources to support health and care staff.

This national support is available to all pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and support staff, wherever they might work in the health service.

This is a positive step, but with continued pressure on teams, we’ll keep working so that all pharmacists and support staff get the help they need.

Join our Workforce Wellbeing Action Group

If you want to help shape our future work on health and wellbeing, we’re looking for members to join our new Workforce Wellbeing Action Group. The first meeting will be held on Thursday 25 March and it’s not too late to sign up here.
