RPS and APTUK joint statement on pharmacy technician membership

The RPS and APTUK are proud to represent and lead our respective unique professions.

Every day, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians improve care for patients and ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.

We believe that each profession is best served by having individual and distinct professional representation. This is mutually beneficial and there are areas where both organisations can complement each other.

The recent announcement that pharmacy technicians will at a future point be able to join RPS to access its products and services alongside their APTUK membership is something we are both sure will benefit many pharmacy technicians and the pharmacists they work alongside.
