Covid-19: We talk to BBC London News

BBC London News interviewed RPS English Pharmacy Board member Ash Soni on the impact of covid-19 on his community pharmacy in South London.

He told the BBC that pharmacists desperately need supplies of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) "now, not next week or the week after, today", in order to protect themselves.

The RPS have called for the government to take immediate action by providing PPE across all pharmacy settings.

Ash also stated in the interview that covid-19 had placed an unprecedented demand and risk on the profession, as pharmacists and their teams are "so exposed" to the virus.
