Celebrating LGBTQI+ history month

Our inclusion and diversity team have highlighted LGBTQI+ issues this month.

At our ABCD meeting this month we were joined by four fantastic speakers:

• The LGBT Foundation explained their brilliant Pride in Practice initiative which helps primary care services understand the needs of their LGBTQI+ patients and deliver inclusive healthcare.
• Community pharmacist Dipesh Raghwani shared how his team support the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in his area.
• Deputy Chief Pharmacist Rajiv Pandya explained why visible leadership matters.
• Matt Ellison showed just how easily You Can Make a Trans Person’s Day by using the right name and pronouns.

We’ve also posted powerful blogs on lived experience.
