-The hard work, dedication and innovation showed by pharmacy teams across all sectorsduring recent weeks.

-The need for all sectors of pharmacy to be recognised and valued as part of the NHS and to have access to all the related benefits.

-For the innovation and lessons learned from the pandemic to beto be taken forward to further enable patients to benefit from the wealth of clinical knowledge of pharmacists.

Commenting on the evidence session Suzanne Scott-Thomas said:

“This inquiry is a hugely important piece of work that will have far reaching consequences. We were therefore pleased to have the opportunity at a very early stage to explain to MSs the important issues concerning pharmacy teams now and forthe future".

“More than ever, it’s crucial that the Welsh Government, Members of the Senedd andlocal health boards appreciate the substantial contribution of pharmacy teams and understand their needs going forward. At RPS Wales, we’ll continue working hard to make sure that the voice of our members continues to be heard”.
