COVID-19 vaccination resources

Public Health England has issued provisional guidance on COVID-19 in the green book, chapter 14a. This is provisional as it is subject to MHRA approval of vaccine supply. The chapter contains information on the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines, the dosage and schedule for the UK and recommendations for the use of the vaccine. Public Health England has issued COVID-19 vaccination guidance for healthcare practitioners. It includes detailed information on:

• the background of the programme
• the vaccines (as they become available)
• vaccine recommendations and eligibility
• contraindications and precautions
• vaccine administration issues

Scottish Government has issued a circular on the COVID-19 vaccination programme. This circular sets out for NHS Boards and community pharmacy contractors the agreed fees for community pharmacy contractors participating in the COVID-19 vaccination programme. The circular can be accessed here.
