During our Seminar in 2017 we launched our new approach to local engagement and events – RPS Local. Six months on, we are delighted to share with you the initial impact this new model has delivered.
Following its launch in October 2017, RPS Local delivered 8 events during the remainder of the year, with an average delegate attendance of 22. Already in 2018 a total of 18 events have been delivered across the country, seeing an average of 31 delegates per meeting. Based on the feedback we have received so far, all events have been highly rated by all attendees.
A further 13 events in 2018 are already planned and more events will be added over the coming months, giving members an increased opportunity to engage with the topics on offer and of course network with their peers.
Make sure you know who your RPS Local Coordinator is and look out for events in your area. All events are added to our events system on the RPS website, but we also email members directly with information about upcoming events as well as share information via social media. We would like to remind you that up to date contact details will allow us to stay in touch regarding all local event activities.
We would also like to encourage you to engage with the topics of all currently announced events and suggest new topics and areas of focus. RPS Local events in Scotland will increasingly be linked to the RPS Foundation and Faculty programmes to support you with your professional development, recognition and revalidation.
